What is a hollow section?
Hollow section steel, also know as rectangular hollow sections (RHS), are steel sections primarly used in the construction of steel doors and frames. The sections come in a wide variety of sizes and shapes. It depends on the steel door design if a certain hollow section is right to use. Typically, hollow sections are constructed with a glazing bead , which can be either screwed or glued in place.
